Another double poster! But two very different spectrums in the music world - country and alternative/punk.
First off, some Taylor Swift, "Back to December."
And over to the other end, I've decided to finally seriously make a cover of a My Chemical Romance song. This is "Sing!" from their new, awesome album.
Thanks once again to all those who mysteriously listen to this stuff. As always, I'm pushing for comments/feedback regardless if it's on the positive or negative side (it's the whole reason I started this thing.) And honestly, having a music blog with no comments is a little depressing for me (sorry for sounding like a whiny there, but just trying to make all who visit this place realize the importance of actually commenting on something like this). However, comment/don't comment, thanks for listening!

It's Been Awhile
I've been sorely lacking in producing more songs, covers, etc... SO today is a special bonus day!
I came across the first song I ever (officially) wrote from the beginning of my sophomore year in college. It's...interesting to say the least. There's no other way to title it than "Angry Break-Up Song." Take a listen, por favor:
Next, as a special bonus for getting through that, I'm posting a cover I did of one of my favorite Coldplay songs, "The Scientist."
Thanks all!! You are wonderful! (Remember: feedback is always loved!)
Much Love :)

Original Song #1
Time to post a song! This one is an original, written at the beginning of last semester. Title: "You Knew This Was Coming" Hope you enjoy it, sorry if it's not perfect, it's been awhile since I've listened to it myself. Comments, criticisms, and whatever else are very much accepted!

This Is War
Right now, I can't get enough of 30 Seconds to Mars. I know they're a little emo, and scream every now and then. But the lyrics are so beautiful, and the music riffs just get your gut turning. If you like that kind of music, I strongly recommend picking up the album This Is War (their latest and greatest). Plus, Jared Leto is phenomenal.
No new music today, just wanted to share the focus of all my inspiration right now. So if I find myself writing in the next few days, it will probably have 30STM / MCR similarities to it. (I hope)

New Theme - Music!
For awhile now I've been wanting to start a music blog. It will have a variety of things: lyrics I'm working on, lyrics to other songs that are inspiring right now, I'll post songs I've written or covers I've done, even music videos that are amazing! It's just a way to kind of "get myself out there" a little bit, and hopefully shed a little inspiration on everyone else.
So, to start off, just a little cover I did at the beginning of Fall 2009, it's a little rough, but it's how I started! Here's the song by Rihanna, "Umbrella"...
